Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Swim Instructor to join our team at Atlanta Swim Academy. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in teaching age-appropriate swimming skills to students of all ages.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead small groups of swimmers through progressive swim skills
  • Plan and organize class time using effective lesson plans
  • Teach with encouragement and positive reinforcement
  • Communicate progress with parents and swimmers
  • Cooperate with teammates and participate in ongoing trainings
  • Enforce facility policies, rules, and regulations
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of swimming skills and mechanics
  • Excellent communication skills with children and adults
  • Comfortable working with children of all ages
  • Ability to lead and motivate
  • Certification in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, CPR, and First Aid (training available for candidates)

Compensation and Work Schedule

The estimated annual salary for this position is $40,000-$60,000 depending on experience. The work schedule includes at least one 4-hour shift on Saturdays or Sundays and two weekdays.
