Position Overview:
The Accounting Manager at WORK180 USA will play a pivotal role within the Accounting department, providing essential financial guidance and oversight to guarantee the precise and timely management of financial transactions and reporting. This role will also focus on establishing robust processes that reinforce internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a dedicated team responsible for accounts receivable and payroll processing.
- Execute month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Analyze financial transactions to identify errors or deficiencies, developing remediation strategies and implementing enhancements to prevent future occurrences.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP by assessing appropriate accounting treatments.
- Supervise daily accounting functions, encompassing accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger management.
- Support project costing and inventory maintenance.
- Collaborate with the finance team to create effective accounting and reporting systems with a strong emphasis on internal controls.
- Assist in both internal and external audit processes, addressing requests from auditors.

Team Development:
- Engage in recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and training new employees.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, monitoring and evaluating job performance.

Training and Communication:
- Deliver training sessions to other departments to clarify accounting procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Foster effective interactions with various departments across the organization.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA credentials are preferred.
- A minimum of five years of accounting experience, including accounts payable and general ledger, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- At least two years of supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Familiarity with ERP software, preferably SyteLine.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and internal controls.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects effectively.
