Critical Facility Technician 4

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Facility Technician 4 to join our team at M.C. Dean, Inc. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within data centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment is operating at peak efficiency through planned preventative maintenance and daily corrective work.
  • Develop and implement Reliability-Centered maintenance processes and techniques to minimize downtime and ensure availability and capacity targets are achieved.
  • Conduct detailed root cause analysis and develop reliability reports to identify areas for increased efficiency and resiliency.
  • Lead and implement Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) reports to ensure all critical equipment and systems are functioning optimally.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance.
  • Possess a Journeyman Electrician License, Journeyman HVAC license, or equivalent.
Abilities:
  • Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period.
  • Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders.
  • Possess good vision, the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
