Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team at UNC Health. As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the planning, implementation, and coordination of clinical trials. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth conduct of clinical trials, from protocol development to study completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain study protocols, case report forms, and informed consent documents
  • Conduct site initiation visits, monitor study progress, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with investigators, research staff, and sponsors to ensure timely completion of studies
  • Manage and maintain accurate and complete study records, including participant data and study documentation
  • Collaborate with the research team to identify and resolve study-related issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nursing, biology, chemistry)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical research coordination or a related field
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
