Job Description

This Electrical Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring proper processes and procedures in managing complex project operations. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in electrical product technical knowledge and have experience in commercial construction industry and knowledge of regional market, competition, and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee complex project operations, ensuring adherence to established processes and procedures.
  • Direct and coordinate internal team efforts for electrical product selection, deliveries, and subcontractor installations.
  • Establish daily meetings with project teams and vendors to discuss project progress and address any challenges.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop pre-start up, start-up, and CX schedules and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate logs of vendor activities and provide regular project status reports to management.
  • Coach and mentor team members to develop supply chain and operational acumen and adhere to company processes and procedures.
  • Oversee jobsite needs, including logistics, organization, layout, equipment, quality control, and scheduling, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Build trusting relationships with owners, SourceBlue (SB), and Turner project teams, as well as establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
  • Partner with SB Preconstruction teams to assess logistics for estimating products and establish project schedules, managing them through product selection, delivery, and installation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field desired, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of commercial construction experience required.
  • Expertise in electrical product technical knowledge.
  • Experience in commercial construction industry and knowledge of regional market, competition, and industry trends.
  • Negotiation and interpersonal relationship building skills, with ability to influence and engage others.
  • Knowledgeable of estimating, construction costs, scheduling, purchasing, and engineering principles and techniques, general contract and subcontract documents, drawings, and specifications, familiar with accounting and cost control procedures.
  • Project management skills, able to manage and direct others to complete high volumes of work, and move projects forward in a complex environment in a timely manner.
  • Advanced presentation and delivery skills, anticipating needs of audience, and tailoring communications appropriately.
  • Critical thinking skills with sound judgment decision-making.
  • Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office suite of applications and collaborative tools.
  • Regular travel.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
