About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Intellectual Property Paralegal to support our dynamic IP team. This position offers competitive compensation and a collaborative work environment. Candidates should possess a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in intellectual property law, particularly in patent and trademark prosecution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file U.S. and international trademark applications, including necessary prosecution and maintenance tasks.
  • Engage with clients and foreign associates regarding trademark matters, ensuring clear communication and guidance.
  • Coordinate foreign trademark filings, oppositions, and cancellations, including the collection of evidence and document legalization.
  • Monitor trademark conflicts, conduct thorough investigations, and report findings to clients.
  • Ensure timely filing of oppositions in enforcement actions and track deadlines effectively.
  • Conduct trademark clearance searches and file copyright registrations with relevant authorities.
  • Perform IP due diligence for both domestic and international patents.
  • Manage U.S. and foreign patent portfolios, including preparing and filing patent applications and related documents.
  • Research and estimate costs associated with filing domestic and foreign patent applications.
  • Draft and file PCT applications and related amendments, instructing foreign associates as necessary.
  • Maintain client portfolio reports and update relevant files accordingly.
  • Supervise administrative support staff and manage docket deadlines efficiently.
