Job Title: Transmission Project Engineer

At Synerfac, we are seeking a highly skilled Transmission Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our transmission engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, implementation, and management of transmission projects that support the efficient and reliable movement of energy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for transmission infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Oversee the construction, installation, and commissioning of transmission systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
  • Collaborate with transmission system operators and utilities to ensure seamless integration of new projects into existing infrastructure.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to transmission engineering.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.
  • 5+ years of experience in transmission engineering and project management within the utilities or energy sector.
  • Geotechnical and structural analysis and design calculations related to transmission pole foundations, including direct embedment, vibratory, and drilled pier foundations.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations governing transmission systems (e.g., NERC, IEEE).
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
