Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers and designers supporting transmission line design projects for our clients.
  • Collaborate with engineering managers and project managers to provide support as needed to deliver excellence to our clients.
  • Be a subject matter expert for all client software, tools, standards, and processes used for engineering projects.
  • Provide and coordinate training to entry-level engineers and designers.
  • Provide and monitor career development objectives for team members.
  • Support the Welty Energy management team and collaborate and consult as needed for the benefit of the organization.
  • Support the Director, Engineering and Executive Vice President with strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong analytical ability.
  • Proficiency in PLS-CADD and other Power Line Systems software products.
  • Familiarity with AutoCad.
  • Ability to establish trust and healthy rapport with various team members of Welty Energy.
  • Ability to collaborate with management team to foster a productive and encouraging environment.
  • Ability to establish goals for your team that are measurable and provide metrics for tracking purposes.
