Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Alleghany Health. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

• Supervise and manage the pharmacy department, including staff supervision and training
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and maintain accurate records
• Optimize patient outcomes through clinical and professional duties
• Direct and oversee the activities of employees engaged in medication preparation and dispensing
• Provide consultative advice to nursing and medical staff on drug interactions, side effects, and procurement
• Follow established procedures for quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste
• Recommend and inform medical personnel of drug applications and characteristics

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in North Carolina
• Ability to work effectively with other members of the management staff and medical staff
• Proactive leadership skills and intuitive thinking
