Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Northern Inyo Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients referred for Speech therapy, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients referred for Speech therapy and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Administer Speech therapy treatments and provide ongoing care to patients
  • Collaborate with hospital departments and medical staff to ensure seamless care
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
  • Conduct business in an ethical and lawful manner and report any knowledge of real or potential fraud or abuse
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology and holding a current Speech Pathologist license in the State of California
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a licensed Speech Therapist
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Intranet
  • Ability to learn computer software programs, including Cerner Millennium, Policy Manager, OneSource, HPF, One Content, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pediatric experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • ASHA approved advanced certifications in the speech therapy field
  • Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology or other related field
Work Schedule:

Varies, including mostly weekends and Monday-Friday vacation coverage

Per Diem Rate:

$8 per hour
