Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Northern Inyo Hospital. As a key member of our rehabilitation department, you will be responsible for evaluating patients referred for speech therapy, developing personalized treatment plans, and administering effective therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients referred for speech therapy and develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Administer speech therapy treatments and provide ongoing support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with hospital departments and medical staff to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Speech Language Pathology and current licensure in the State of California
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and a minimum of 8 years of experience as a licensed Speech Therapist
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn hospital software programs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pediatric experience and bilingual skills in Spanish
  • ASHA-approved advanced certifications in speech therapy
  • Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field
Work Schedule

This position requires flexibility to work mostly weekends, Monday-Friday, with vacation coverage as needed.
