We are Now Hiring a Transit Bus Fleet Manager

The Transit Bus Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our transit bus fleet in Williamsburg, VA. This includes managing a team of professionals to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles, as well as maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Management: Develop and maintain successful contract relationships with clients, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met.
  • Fleet Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of our transit bus fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are in good working condition and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of professionals to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles, as well as maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, as well as analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all company procedures and policies are followed, including First Quality Management (FQM) requirements.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet management or a related field.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
