We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our Site Investigation and Remediation Service Line in Albuquerque, NM. As a Service Line Leader, you will be responsible for managing and growing our environmental team, collaborating with regional and national leaders, and driving business development and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Manage SIR staff and project teams for environmental projects, including oversight of subcontractors and sampling of soil, soil vapor, sediment, surface water, and groundwater.
- Develop and maintain communication channels with key clients, stakeholders, and internal personnel to ensure smooth workflow and provide exceptional consultancy services.
- Business development to identify and develop new clients for our environmental business, including networking within and outside WSP.
- Provide technical review for projects to comply with environmental laws, company standards, contract requirements, and related specifications.
- Mentor and train junior staff, collaborate with team members, and manage proposal preparation, including innovative technical approaches and competitive pricing.
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related fields.
- PG or PE in the state of New Mexico desired.
- 12+ years of experience with increasing responsibility, including strong background in environmental consulting services to clients in various sectors.
- Demonstrated scientific or engineering expertise with Federal, State, and Local environmental regulations, as well as experience with field investigations associated with environmental site assessments, site remediation, field management, sampling, etc.
- Project Management experience, including deliverables, schedules, and budgets, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Business development experience and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships, as well as experience in proposal preparation.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with standard software packages, such as MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
