Job Overview

Position: Associate Attorney - Litigation

A reputable law firm is actively seeking an Associate Attorney to enhance its growing litigation department. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional advocacy abilities, a dedication to client satisfaction, and a solid history in litigation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver thorough legal advice to clients, assisting them through various phases of litigation.
  • Perform detailed case evaluations, formulating effective legal tactics and arguments.
  • Efficiently collect and scrutinize evidence, including conducting interviews with witnesses.
  • Draft and prepare a wide range of legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and other forms of dispute resolution.

Required Qualifications:
  • Active member in good standing of the North Carolina Bar.
  • At least two years of experience in litigation.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to advocate effectively in court.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in managing a diverse caseload efficiently.
  • A collaborative team player who also excels in independent work settings.
  • Admission to the South Carolina Bar is advantageous.
