Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a range of mechanical assembly tasks, including riveting and drilling, to ensure composite assemblies are properly bonded and meet specified requirements.
  • Load and unload molds in various equipment such as ovens, presses, and autoclaves, ensuring precise operation according to material specifications.
  • Conduct thorough checks on all work to guarantee defect-free assemblies prior to quality inspections.
  • Maintain and prepare materials for logging purposes.
  • Oversee the upkeep of tools, molds, fixtures, and production equipment within the Composite Assembly area.
  • Adhere to company workmanship and quality standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Comply with all safety procedures as outlined by company policies and the Facility Engineer/Safety Director.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in riveting and drilling techniques for assembly bonding.
  • Ability to interpret and work with detailed blueprints and work instructions.
  • Demonstrated skill in using various power and hand tools.
  • Capable of lifting and pushing weights up to 25 lbs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the highest quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the composite assembly process is advantageous.
