Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the underwriting workflow in accordance with carrier protocols and CRC Group policies.
  • Provide essential information to brokerage markets for accounts requiring non-binding authority.
  • Make informed underwriting decisions and address complex coverage challenges.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with insurance carriers.
  • Generate quotes and finalize agreements for both new and existing business.
  • Negotiate optimal terms with available markets.
  • Evaluate and respond to endorsement requests.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure adherence to policy requirements.
  • Maintain documentation standards and adhere to underwriting authority levels.
  • Ensure all necessary licenses are kept current.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant insurance certification.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in underwriting or brokerage.
  • Licensure in relevant areas.
  • Proven ability to independently handle underwriting and brokerage tasks.
  • Comprehension of client requirements and risk assessments.
  • Stay informed on trends within the insurance sector.
  • Demonstrated strong customer service and teamwork abilities.
