Warranty Claims Specialist

Responsibilities:
* Review documentation and claim information on all repairs to determine eligibility for warranty reimbursement.
* Identify component problems and causes for high warranty costs or frequency of failures.
* Analyze warranty database for cost and frequency causes.
* Analyze, process, and file all warranty claims with manufacturers online.
* Represent PACCAR's interests as a direct liaison with OEM representatives.
* File and negotiate claims for all policy reimbursements.
* Collect data from each branch monthly and assist in data input for end-of-month documentation.
* Track and record \"no charge\" invoice recovery amounts to accurately reflect the value of service performed on each vehicle.
* Reconcile (by unit) all warranty checks received to match checks to each repair order.
* Negotiate with OEMs for annual labor rate increases.
* Process Inservice documentation and warranty registration with OEM.
* Negotiate and update annual supplier warranty guide coverage and contact information.
* Process weekly warranty credits and track warranty recovery for multiple locations.
* Update warranty training manual.
Requirements:
* 2 + years of administrative and/or vehicle warranty service experience required.
* Familiarity with PACCAR products, Cummins, and PACCAR engines.
* Self-motivated and able to accept responsibility for assigned projects, working under limited supervision.
* Proficient PC knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
