Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Belimed. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining our equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using advanced test instruments and calibration equipment.
  • Install, modify, and repair Belimed and third-party equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Manage customer relationships effectively, prioritizing customer needs and balancing preventive maintenance with daily repairs.
  • Conduct product in-service trainings as required, providing customers with the knowledge and skills needed to operate our equipment effectively.
  • Complete service reports, timesheets, and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring seamless communication with our team and customers.
  • Maintain a well-organized work vehicle with necessary tools, manuals, and parts required to provide efficient repairs and installations.
  • Monitor customer chemical orders, contract sales, and renewals, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Promote and maintain good customer relations through high standards of professionalism, ethical behavior, maturity, and good judgment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical single and 3-phase wiring and controls.
  • Experience troubleshooting water and pneumatic process controls is essential.
  • Ability to perform piping of copper, brass, and stainless steel piping is required.
  • Ability to read and red-line P&ID and electrical schematics is necessary.
  • Technical aptitude and general computer skills are required, as well as the ability to communicate effectively via email.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted and climb over and crawl under equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business need dictates is necessary.
  • Ability to maintain compliance of all credentialing requirements to access customer sites.
