About the Role

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a skilled Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our team at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Care
    • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, including those related to women's health and reproductive medicine.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
    • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories, using your expertise to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing clear and concise medical information and fostering a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
  • Documentation
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Diagnostic Procedures
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
    • Perform procedures as needed, using your expertise and training to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions, sharing your expertise and insights to inform decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
  • Quality Improvement
    • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance patient care and safety.
    • Review and analyze clinical outcomes, using data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Compliance
    • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice, ensuring that all actions and decisions are guided by a commitment to patient care and well-being.
    • Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to maintain compliance.
  • Continuous Learning
    • Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices, participating in ongoing medical education and training to stay current and informed.
    • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines, sharing your expertise and insights to inform decision-making and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible

Pay Range

$190.27/hour
