About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Unit Clerk CNA to join our team at Mercy Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Patient Care: Provide direct care to patients, including vital signs, wound care, and other medical procedures, as assigned by nursing staff.
  2. Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including charting and documentation.
  3. Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  4. Supply Management: Order and manage unit-specific supplies, ensuring a well-stocked and organized environment.
  5. Quality Improvement: Participate in performance improvement activities, identifying opportunities for growth and implementing process improvements.
Requirements
  • Current CNA certification in applicable state
  • Approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days
  • Completion of a Unit Clerk course or equivalent on-the-job training
  • Previous healthcare experience, preferably in a CNA role
