Compensation: $45-$60 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the setup, initiation, and commissioning of digital control systems on construction projects within established timelines.
  • Maintain documentation of commissioning processes; relay any deficiencies and progress updates.
  • Execute data backups from servers and develop automated procedures.
  • Diagnose and rectify inconsistencies in operational functions or sequences.
  • Set up PC workstations and user interfaces effectively.
  • Verify network performance and functionality.
  • Generate routine reports to assess system operations.
  • Conduct final inspections, testing, and facilitate customer acceptance.
  • Deliver training to customers on system functionalities.
  • Prepare and submit regular written reports.
  • Provide engineering with plans and control system documents for as-built drawings.
  • Coordinate with trade contractors for startup services.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in programming control systems, preferably within HVAC.
  • Familiarity with integrating low voltage building sub-systems and industry protocols such as LON, BACnet, N2, Modbus, etc.
  • Ability to interpret design and construction documents.
  • Capable of working in diverse environments.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
