Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' communication skills and swallowing function
- Develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans to maximize patients' communication and swallowing potential
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide quality patient care
- Participate in peer review and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Graduation from a program satisfying the American Speech/Language/Hearing Association's academic and practicum requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Valid license issued by the State in which they are practicing
- Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
