We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at Tabitha. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the active clinical record for inpatient programs, assisting with admissions, and performing chart analysis to ensure that necessary elements are present and complete.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records for inpatient programs
- Assist with admissions, including transcribing and performing data entry of signed physician orders
- Perform chart analysis to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Assist with scheduling appointments for Seniors/clients, making arrangements with family members as needed, and scheduling van transportation
- Oversee the operations of transporting residents, ensuring that schedules are effectively covered for appointments
- Coordinate scheduling for new TEAMember orientation, compliance training, and meetings
- Analyze staffing patterns and communicate staffing needs to the DON/Administrator
- Monitor frequency of physician visits and notify physicians of upcoming regulatory required visits
- Create, approve, and maintain schedules and on-call calendars in scheduling software for living community nursing departments
- Use problem-solving techniques to suggest creative scheduling strategies as needed for living community nursing departments
- Assume scheduled on-call duties, including a week-long (7-day) obligation on a rotating basis, with the possibility of additional on-call shifts with little or no notice
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language, as well as terminology and jargon specific to the job
- Ability to recognize and interpret non-verbal cues
- Ability to gain access to the work area and safely perform duties while utilizing standard and specialized equipment
- Unrestricted lift/push/pull ability and pass a 50-pound physical exam demonstrating strength and agility prior to employment and from time to time thereafter
- Successful completion of a Licensed Practical Nurse course of study required
- 6 months experience as an LPN preferred, with medical record experience in a long-term care facility, hospital, or medical clinical preferred
- LPN License in good standing as recorded on the Nebraska State Registry or other Nurse Compact state required
- CPR required
- Valid Nebraska Driver's license (unless otherwise allowed by law) and a good driving record required
- Must possess auto insurance at or above Nebraska statutory requirements
- Must meet Tabitha's Vaccination Requirements
