Role Overview

The Fleet Coordinator will be integral to the maintenance and management of our fleet, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role involves working closely with our production facilities and testing environments to support our mission in aerospace development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and assessments of fleet equipment, providing recommendations for repairs or replacements as necessary. Maintain comprehensive records of fleet inventories, assignments, and usage.
  • Serve as a liaison between the enterprise fleet manager and various support vendors, facilitating coordination and support for on-site vendors based on stakeholder requests.
  • Oversee multi-site scheduling for the repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles and powered industrial trucks.
  • Review fleet purchase requests and provide informed recommendations.
  • Act as a point of contact for manufacturers regarding warranty and recall work, resolving technical and safety issues.
  • Analyze and develop work plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks while minimizing downtime and costs.
  • Continuously improve fleet maintenance practices and procedures to uphold quality control standards.
  • Travel may be required for site-specific standardization and training development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant practical experience in fleet and equipment operations.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing work in a critical environment across multiple organizations.
  • Proven ability to deliver results while collaborating within a small team in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience with CMMS work order systems is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain positive professional relationships, contributing to an inclusive culture.
  • Must meet U.S. citizenship or residency requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in fleet asset management.
  • Familiarity with Maxim software.
