Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Head of FP&A to build and transform the FP&A function into a data-driven business analysis team supporting operational and strategic decision-making as we grow and scale globally.

This is a high-impact and highly strategic role focused on fostering highly collaborative and effective business partnerships across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the FP&A team, fostering a collaborative and business-partnership mindset across the business teams.
  • Own the Company's Operating Plan, directing and overseeing all aspects of the FP&A function, including integrated business planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and long-term planning.
  • Act as a Business Partner and Trusted Advisor to all functions within Avidbots, including Sales and Marketing, Account Management, Manufacturing, Operations, Product, R&D, PMO, and Corporate Shared Services teams.
  • Support leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives, providing recommendations to enhance financial performance.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Account Management teams to develop and execute growth strategy, providing oversight and management of financial terms for commercial deals, partnerships, and global expansion opportunities.
  • Improve and maintain company metrics and KPIs, partnering with business stakeholders to develop metrics cascades enabling alignment and cohesion of the Operating Plan execution.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
  • Own the preparation of periodic board and investor reporting, as well as support capital raising and due diligence activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related degree required.
  • 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles.
  • CPA, CFA certifications helpful but not required, private equity background preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise with the hardware and software industry (preferably Enterprise) and the related financial aspects.
  • First-rate strategic skills combined with the ability to drive operational execution at a detailed level.
  • Sophisticated depth of communication, analytical, project management, and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently, collaborate cross-functionally, and lead and inspire the FP&A team in a hybrid work environment.
  • Organized with the ability to implement systems and processes to bring structure to a function while retaining the flexibility required to manage effectively in a business undergoing growth and change.
  • Will to display the emotional intelligence needed to influence internal and external parties through a period of profound growth and change leadership.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that may include criminal/civil background checks.
