Job Title: Licensed Nursing Assistant

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the delivery of exceptional patient experiences.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Nursing Assistant will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, perform various clinical procedures, and maintain a safe and clean environment. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including attending to daily living and safety needs, and assisting with personal hygiene and basic needs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Perform various clinical procedures, such as vital sign checks, blood glucose monitoring, and discontinuation of urinary catheters and peripheral IVs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including vital signs, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Current valid Arizona LNA License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a Nursing Assistant certification program preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a related unit or field.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:

This role requires the ability to work in a variety of settings, including Med/Surg, Peds, PCU, ICU, Observation Unit, and ER. The Licensed Nursing Assistant may be required to provide backup support as a Camera Tech in specific units.

Exposure Categories:

This role is classified as Category I, with routine potential for exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
