We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team at Flagship Facility Services. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our clients' buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting of floors, walls, and surfaces.
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and scrubbing machines.
- Empty waste baskets and replace liners as needed.
- Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals in restrooms.
- Spot clean soiled areas on carpets and floors.
- Perform periodic tasks, such as cleaning overhead vents, dusting high partitions, and polishing wood furniture.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and trash up to 30 pounds.
- Good listening and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Our team works in a variety of office and commercial settings, including small-to-large office environments. You will be exposed to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments. Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, cleaning products, and noise.
