We are seeking a highly skilled Locksmith Master to join our team at the Louisiana Department of State Civil Service. As a Locksmith Master, you will be responsible for independently repairing and installing locks and related specialized equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Opens large safe locks by turning dial and listening to the sound of tumbler or by drilling through the lock.
- Reads schematics and disarms electronic or mechanical anti-intrusion devices.
- Functions as consultant to management.
- Requisitions and stocks parts.
- Reads blueprints.
- Performs the duties of a Locksmith.
- Three years of experience in the locksmithing trade.
- Training in the locksmithing trade will substitute for a maximum of two years of the required experience on a month for month basis.
