We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist II to join our Hematology team at Albany Med. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing complex laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform testing and compile reports on laboratory specimens
- Document test results and quality control procedures accurately and legibly
- Use effective written and verbal communication skills to work collaboratively with customers and employees
- Maintain and perform quality control procedures on laboratory equipment
- Operate automated equipment and instruments, as well as microscopes and other sophisticated laboratory equipment
- Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology
- Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician or Technologist by the NYSED
- Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
