Job Summary

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will work collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality patient care, adhering to the scope of training and approved agreements. Responsibilities include performing thorough health histories, reviewing patient records, and developing comprehensive medical assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough health histories and review patient records to develop comprehensive medical assessments
  • Order laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies as necessary
  • Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals as needed
  • Provide instructions and guidance on healthcare and health promotion to patients and their families
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, patients, and families
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certification (with 1 year ER/UC experience preferred)
  • Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate
