The role of the Enhancements Production Manager is vital to the operations of Distinctive Lawn And Landscape LLC. This position combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on tasks and requires strong customer service skills due to frequent interactions with clients.


Reporting Structure

The Enhancements Production Manager reports directly to the CEO, who will provide necessary training, guidance, and support.


Qualifications

Experience in the Green Industry and/or Landscaping is Required

Education: A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

Certifications: A valid Ohio Driver's License and eligibility for coverage under the company's vehicle insurance policy.

Experience: A minimum of four years in landscaping and snow operations, with prior leadership experience preferred.


Physical Requirements

Ability to:

  • Stand and walk for extended periods, completing tasks and assisting clients and colleagues.
  • Work in extreme temperatures for prolonged durations.
  • Lift moderate to heavy items, up to 50 pounds, without assistance.
  • Perform various physical activities including climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions.
  • Communicate effectively to exchange information.
  • Utilize hand dexterity for job-related tasks.
  • Maintain visual awareness of hazards in the work environment.

Work Environment

The employee will be expected to work in various weather conditions, including hot, humid, and cold environments. As this is an outdoor position, adaptability to seasonal changes is essential. The Enhancements Production Manager will need to travel to client locations as required and may have a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Key Responsibilities

The Enhancements Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the Enhancement Crews, including:

  • Scheduling work crews to optimize productivity and profitability.
  • Monitoring the performance of each team member.
  • Providing clear, job-specific instructions and ensuring completion to company standards.
  • Training and mentoring crew members, offering timely feedback on performance.
  • Instructing crews on the safe and efficient use of company equipment.
  • Conducting training and certification for new and existing crew members.
  • Delivering immediate feedback on job performance and quality.
  • Implementing the company's disciplinary procedures fairly and promptly.
  • Conducting annual performance evaluations for crew members.
  • Addressing crew inquiries regarding work tasks.
  • Communicating workload adjustments to maintain productivity.
  • Performing daily site inspections to ensure job completion and client satisfaction.
