Machinery Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on machinery.
  • Design or modify equipment, jigs, fixtures, and tooling as necessary.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery while maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all machinery and equipment.
  • Order necessary parts through established internal procedures or external sources.
  • Operate machinery as required.
  • Provide training to team members on machine operations.
  • Perform minor welding tasks as needed.
  • Depending on the location, assist with facility maintenance duties.
  • Exemplify support for the company culture through daily actions.
  • Be prepared to undertake comparable duties or assist in other areas as required.
  • Engage in learning, understanding, and promoting the quality management system in line with ISO standards.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to read schematics and interpret equipment manuals.
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical skills.
  • Proficient in using various hand tools and testing equipment.
  • Computer proficiency; knowledge of AutoCAD is advantageous.
  • A self-motivated team player capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Effective communication skills with team members and leadership.
  • Welding knowledge is a plus.

Compensation:
This position offers a salary range of $18.75 to $23.56, with actual pay determined by various factors including skills, experience, and qualifications.
