Skillforce Inc. is actively seeking a Skilled Carpenter with extensive experience in commercial projects. Our company has been a reputable contractor for nearly two decades, focusing on new construction and renovation projects in the Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repair work and installation of doors, windows, and fixtures as required.
- Execute trim work and drywall hanging.
- Conduct metal and wood framing tasks.
- Install floors, roofs, and walls with precision.
- Utilize both electrical and manual tools effectively, including powered saws, hammers, and measuring instruments.
Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen with a clean background.
- Availability for 10-12 hour shifts starting at 6 PM.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a skilled team.
- Ability to read blueprints and adhere to OSHA safety regulations.
- Possession of personal tools and reliable transportation is essential.
Compensation: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour, based on experience and work history.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in carpentry.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Driver's License is required.
