Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Installation Supervisor to join our team at Gallo Mechanical. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of ductwork and equipment on job sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, lay out, and supervise ductwork and equipment installation on job sites
  • Measure and produce shop tickets for mechanical rooms and other areas
  • Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure smooth project execution
  • Manage labor forecasts, tool inventory, and material ordering
  • Conduct quality control and safety inspections
  • Prepare and submit reports, including daily job reports, JSAs, time sheets, and RFI's
  • Develop and implement material take-off and equipment ship date plans
  • Manage change orders and attend job meetings
  • Control job costs, including materials, rental equipment, and labor
  • Oversee payroll and employee termination processes
  • Serve as a mentor for future field leaders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years of experience as a journeyman in commercial sheet metal ductwork installation
  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment rooms and ability to work in diverse conditions
  • Physical stamina to perform regular lifting and moving of equipment and materials
