Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician to join our team at the County of Los Angeles, California. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our electrodiagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and review physicians' written requests for ECG examinations, ensuring that all necessary information is present and accurate.
  • Verify patient identification data and note any injuries or unusual conditions, such as pacemakers, that may impact the examination.
  • Reassure patients and their families by providing clear explanations of the examination process and answering any questions they may have.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that all necessary information is collected and documented.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and examination results.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a post-secondary program in electrodiagnostic technology or a related field.
  • Valid certification as a cardiac electrophysiology technician.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
