Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse at CHRISTUS Health is responsible for planning, directing, implementing, and evaluating the nursing plan of care provided by the nursing team. This position requires providing services to ICU patients of all ages in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individuals served.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized nursing plans of care for ICU patients
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient conditions
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and services
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
- English required, bilingual (English/Spanish; English/French) preferred
- Full-time position
