Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic patient care activities, including taking vital signs, assisting with ADLs, and providing nutritional support.
  • Assist with laboratory procedures, such as venipuncture and EKGs, under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring patient confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care and healthcare technology.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
  • Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
  • Proven track record of compassionate care and superior service.
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience as a phlebotomist or EKG Technician with a healthcare background, or current enrollment in a healthcare training program.
