About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Unit Assistant to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a Medical Unit Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our nursing station by performing various administrative and clerical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist nursing staff with various tasks, including alerting them to new medical orders and test/procedural results
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
* Ensure the physical environment of the nursing station is clean and organized
* Implement all staffing policies and procedures

Requirements:

* High school diploma required
* Knowledge of computer applications, including Word and Excel
* Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
