Job Summary

The Testing Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration of accommodated course tests, ensuring compliance with ADA/504 regulations, and maintaining high standards for security and confidentiality. This role requires strong planning and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with faculty, students, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer accommodated course tests in accordance with faculty instructions and individually approved testing accommodations.
  • Ensure compliance with ADA/504 regulations and support critical compliance functions.
  • Maintain high standards for the security of testing materials.
  • Uphold strict student confidentiality policies.
  • Supervise and complete performance review process with at least one professional staff member.
  • Manage the Testing Center schedule on a daily, weekly, and quarterly basis.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of administrative or program coordination experience in a fast-paced educational setting.
  • Commitment to fully serving a diverse population.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills and high level of attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to challenging situations and frequent schedule changes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative approach with colleagues to support the mission of the institution.
  • Respect for privacy and adherence to confidentiality guidelines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Canvas.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of administrative or program coordination experience in a higher education setting.
  • At least 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot computer issues that may arise in the course of test administration.
