Job Description

Diventures, the nation's fastest growing swim and scuba center, is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching children and adults various swimming and safety skills, creating a safe and enjoyable learning environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach swimming and safety skills to children and adults of various ages and skill levels.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to student and parent inquiries, and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective program.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum age of 16.
  • First-Aid/CPR/AED and O2 certification required within 30 days of hire. Paid training is available.
  • Swim Teachers are credentialed through SSI, and will complete both training and an apprenticeship prior to teaching independently.
