Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Swim Teacher to join our team at Diventures, the nation's fastest growing swim and scuba center. As a Swim Teacher, you will play a vital role in teaching children and adults to become safe and confident swimmers for a lifetime of fun.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a variety of levels and ages swimming and safety skills, promoting a love for the water and a lifelong appreciation for swimming.
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment, ensuring the well-being and safety of all students.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students and their caregivers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of the pool and facility, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all users.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 16.
  • First-Aid/CPR/AED and O2 certification required within 30 days of hire, with paid training available.
  • Swim Teachers are credentialed through SSI, with training and an apprenticeship provided prior to teaching independently.
