Cardiology Faculty Position at a Leading Academic Medical Center

The Department of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University is seeking a fellowship-trained cardiologist with expertise in heart failure and transplantation to join our esteemed faculty. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the advancement of cardiovascular medicine through research, teaching, and clinical excellence.
About the PositionWe are looking for a highly skilled cardiologist with a proven track record of research, teaching, and clinical distinction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heart failure and transplantation, with a passion for advancing the field through innovative research and clinical practices.
Responsibilities- Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical heart failure services, including congestive heart failure, transplant, and mechanical circulatory support
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research projects in heart failure and transplantation
- Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows in cardiovascular medicine
- Participate in the development of clinical guidelines and policies in heart failure and transplantation
The successful candidate must possess an MD or DO degree, be board certified in cardiology, and board certified or board eligible in Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant. Additionally, they must have academic credentials that qualify for a faculty appointment at the minimum level of Assistant Professor and be eligible to receive an unrestricted Pennsylvania State Medical License.
