Job Summary:

As a key member of the Major Health Partners team, the Environmental Services Engineer is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role involves collecting soiled linen and trash, performing floor care tasks, and upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect and dispose of soiled linen and trash in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Operate floor care machines, including buffers, auto scrubbers, sweepers, carpet extractors, and wet vacs.
  • Perform daily maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Work in a teamwork environment to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Adhere to established procedures and protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and current insurance required.
  • Ability to read and understand labels, directions, and policies.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a customer-oriented personality.
  • Two years of Environmental Services experience preferred but not required.
