We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at Intelica. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the interior and exterior of our buildings are well-maintained and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities- Paint and decorate interior and exterior surfaces to a high standard, including walls, ceilings, and trim.
- Work with other professionals to prepare units for lease, including carpenters and maintenance technicians.
- Protect nearby furnishings and building materials during painting jobs, including carpets, cabinetry, and lighting fixtures.
- Complete projects on-schedule and to a high standard, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Match paint samples for touch-ups and other small projects.
- Meet with property managers to discuss schedules and requirements.
- Perform basic drywall replacement and repair, as well as remove wallpaper as needed.
- Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 3+ years' practical painting experience required.
- Excellent mudding and taping skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- $1,000 sign-on bonus payable after 90 days of employment.
