Job Title: Small Engine Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Mechanic to join our team at Mission Landscape Companies, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs on landscape equipment and minor vehicle repairs and maintenance on vehicles.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as tune-ups, oil changes, and tire checks.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with landscape equipment and vehicles.
  • Clean and organize the workshop, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.
  • Manage inventory of replacement parts and equipment.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless workflow and efficient use of resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Related experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
