This position entails providing leadership and strategic guidance for the Human Resources division, ensuring adherence to relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. The role involves collaborating closely with the CEO and senior management to address HR-related matters and promote interdepartmental cooperation to cultivate a skilled and motivated workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay informed about updates in HR legislation, regulations, and industry best practices, offering recommendations and advice as necessary.
- Oversee the formulation and execution of all Human Resources policies and practices in compliance with current laws and regulations.
- Support the Leadership team in the application and resolution of issues related to HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct inquiries into violations of Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Manage various employee-related activities, including recruitment, employee relations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and terminations.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify effective sourcing strategies and ensure job descriptions are current.
- Evaluate overall talent and identify employee development needs, creating training programs and initiatives to meet organizational objectives.
- Work with Directors to assess individual developmental requirements.
- Prepare HR reports and audit data to ensure accuracy and compliance with plan design or federal regulations.
- Identify and propose process enhancements to streamline various HR functions.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the organization's compensation framework.
- Manage the annual departmental budget and ensure compliance throughout the fiscal year.
- Supervise all employee benefit plans, conducting annual reviews and making recommendations to the President & CEO.
- Execute supervisory responsibilities in line with organizational policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities encompass recruitment, interviewing, hiring, training employees, assigning and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field from an accredited institution is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in managing Human Resources functions is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
Compensation: $125,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually
