Job Summary

The Neurodiagnostic Trainee role at Maine Medical Center involves operating electro-neurodiagnostic equipment to measure electrical nerve potentials for use by providers in diagnosing neurological outcomes.

As an EEG Trainee, you will collect electroencephalogram, EEG (brainwave) data for routine EEGs, continuous EEG, and long-term epilepsy monitoring in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate electro-neurodiagnostic equipment to measure electrical nerve potentials
  • Collect EEG data for routine EEGs, continuous EEG, and long-term epilepsy monitoring
  • Work in inpatient and outpatient settings

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Current BLS certification required or must obtain within six months of start date
  • Enrollment in EEG Clinical Training Program within 3 months of start date
