Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Women and Children's Services to lead our Women's and Children's Services department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, managing departmental operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Women's and Children's Services department, ensuring alignment with hospital goals and objectives.
- Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Operational Management: Oversee departmental operations, including budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities for growth and development within the department, and collaborate with hospital leadership to implement strategic plans.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master's Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of progressive management experience in a healthcare setting; 3-5 years of acute care experience preferred.
- Licensure: Current, active California Registered Nursing License required.
Working Conditions
- Physical Demands: Prolonged standing/walking, lifting/positioning up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs of force.
- Vision Requirements: Ability to adjust vision sufficiently to perform position accountabilities.
Compensation
Competitive salary range: $156,000 - $249,600. Individual wages are determined based on qualifications and experience.
