Leisure Services Aide Position

The City of Port Wentworth Leisure Services Department is seeking a qualified applicant for the Leisure Services Aide position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and public relations skills.
  • Assist with sports maintenance, including lining and marking sports fields, and working scoreboards/time clocks.
  • Lead specific program classes according to knowledge and individual experience.
  • Collaborate with participants, parents, and staff to ensure a positive experience.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including answering telephone calls and assisting the public.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • At least one year of experience in working recreational activities.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours, offering a competitive hourly rate of $12.00-$15.00 depending on level of experience.
