About the Role

Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient electronic medical records to identify potential medication-related issues and make recommendations for therapy changes.
  • Monitor and manage the ongoing medication therapy of specific hospitalized or ambulatory patients to ensure optimum therapeutic results.
  • Communicate with prescribing physicians to resolve medication-related issues and document therapeutic interventions.
  • Supervise and direct the activities of pharmacy technicians, interns, and residents to ensure accurate and timely medication preparation and dispensing.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacology degree required.
  • Oregon Licensed Pharmacist required.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
  • PGY1 Pharmacy Residency experience preferred.
